Conserving Land in Kentucky’s Incredible Red RIver Gorge

For as little as $1 you can help preserve one square foot of land in Kentucky’s Red River Gorge

White wildflowers with yellow centers growing among brown fallen leaves on a forest floor

Skyrocketing land prices and increasing investor interest put Red River Gorge at risk of overdevelopment, where a region loses its character to market demand.

We believe that preserving key areas of land is important to the enduring character of the Red River Gorge. Our goal is to keep these places as wild as possible and open to the enjoyment of all.

We have identified a small piece of land in the heart of the Red River Gorge Geological area along the Red River. In the spring this area is full of life of every kind, spotted salamanders, cerulean warblers, river otters, and many other unique and delicate flora and fauna.

Our First Goal:

A detailed map or blueprint showing land plots with numbers and measurements. Three adjacent plots are highlighted in green and outlined in red.

To save a 1/2 acre in the heart of the Red River Gorge Geological area along the Red River from commercial development.

With your help, we can preserve this special area from private development.

For as little as $1.00 you can help us preserve one square foot of this special area along the Red River.
